BAYADA is seeking Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to provide meaningful personal care, household support, and companionship services to adults, enabling them to live safely and independently at home. Requirements

  • Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
  • Minimum one year work experience.
  • Current HHA - Home Health Aide license listed in good standing with the board.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care services, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home, following a written plan of care by a registered nurse.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
  • Provide household support such as light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
  • Prepare and assist with feeding meals.
  • Assist with range of motion exercises.
  • Assist with ambulation, transfers, and the use of mechanical lifting devices.
  • Provide medication reminders and assistance.
  • Perform vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration).
