Demonstrates advanced clinical skills in evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized Occupational Therapy treatment plans across a variety of functional domains. Interprets complex provider referrals and evaluates patients in areas such as independent living skills, occupational performance, prevocational work adjustment, educational skills, play-leisure abilities, social skills, and psychosocial skills. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with regular assessment of progress. Ensures compliance with system-wide, local, state, and federal regulatory requirements by applying relevant standards and best practices. Educates patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and strategies for home management. Coordinates collaboration with other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care. Actively participates in departmental meetings and demonstrates engagement in service line rounds, journal clubs, or discharge planning. Serves as a preceptor and mentor to new team members as needed. Supports educational initiatives within the enterprise, department, and student programming, including but not limited to training opportunities, presentations, student project development, and serving as a secondary Clinical Educator in the absence of the primary Clinical Educator. Performs other duties as assigned.
