About The Position
As a Certified Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia vehicles while following manufacturer specifications and factory repair procedures. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who has invested in manufacturer training and wants to continue building their career with a dealership that values skilled technicians. You will work closely with our service advisors, service management, and other technicians to accurately diagnose concerns, complete repairs efficiently, and maintain a high standard of quality.
Requirements
- Current Genesis, Hyundai, and/or Kia manufacturer certification required
- Previous automotive dealership experience
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities
- Experience working with manufacturer-specific diagnostic systems
- Ability to accurately diagnose and repair complex vehicle concerns
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Own professional technician tools
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Dependable and team-oriented
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair Genesis, Hyundai, and Kia vehicles
- Perform advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics
- Complete manufacturer-recommended maintenance and repairs
- Perform warranty and recall repairs according to factory procedures
- Utilize manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical resources
- Properly document diagnostic findings and completed repairs
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Stay current on new vehicle technology and manufacturer procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work as part of a team to provide a high-quality customer experience
