About The Position
This role provides support to the Revenue Cycle functions by reviewing coverage discovery for scheduled patient appointments to determine patient responsibility. The individual will document coverage appropriately in Epic, identify trends in coverage and point of service patient responsibility collections for each of the 88 clinic locations, and recommend process changes to optimize the collection of patient responsibility related revenue and third-party payments. This role also involves communicating with clinical and operations leadership regarding coverage discovery, patient responsibility, and revenue cycle topics.
Requirements
- Epic PB experience, certification preferred
- RHIA/RHIT/CPC certified required
- Revenue cycle reporting, build, logic, claims adjudication, data, and training
- Clearinghouse - Third party coverage discovery
- RTE interpretation
Nice To Haves
- Public health, community health, physician clinic, FQHC, RHC revenue cycle experience
- Mississippi healthcare experience
