In the role of EPIC Revenue Cycle Optimization Analyst, you will be responsible for optimizing, configuring, and supporting EPIC revenue cycle modules to drive measurable financial performance for managed services clients. This role involves partnering with Revenue Cycle Operations to develop best practice processes for Epic functionality, reduce manual processes, improve user workflows, and support QA programs. You will maintain Epic-based productivity tracking frameworks, work to reduce DNFB/DNFC, improve clean claim rates, and decrease days in A/R and denial volumes. The analyst will translate operational challenges into Epic system solutions, support frontline teams, and lead enterprise work queue strategy. This includes optimizing routing logic, aligning work queues to roles, and eliminating duplicate work. You will advise operational leaders on Epic best practices, monitor Key Performance Indicators, and make recommendations for workflow or enhancement improvements. A deep understanding of Epic functionality, including maintaining certifications and staying updated on new releases, is crucial. The role also involves performing account level reviews and audits, participating in assessments for client improvement opportunities, and helping to increase revenue through workflow standardization and process improvement. Collaboration is key, serving as a liaison between Revenue Cycle Operations, Product and Technology teams, and client stakeholders, providing subject matter expertise on Epic capabilities. You will leverage Epic reporting tools to monitor KPIs and identify system-driven improvement opportunities. As a lead for Epic issues and new change requests, you will manage ticket logging, status tracking, and escalations. Additionally, you will assist the education department in developing training materials and curriculum, perform direct observations to ensure best practice adherence, and support revenue cycle leadership in Epic certification processes.
