About The Position
This position is for a Certified English Tutor at Tinley Park High School, effective for the 2026-27 school year. The tutor will develop in each student an understanding and appreciation of language arts, especially in the area of literature. The role involves tutoring secondary pupils in language arts, using the adopted curriculum as a guideline for individual course content.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Language Arts or a related subject area.
- A valid Illinois Certificate Type 09, preferred.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
