Certified English Teacher (6 - 12)
About The Position
Seeking a Full Time Certified English Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves instructing assigned clients by developing a structured classroom environment to promote intellectual, emotional, and social growth. The teacher will plan and implement instructional programs for clients with emotional and behavioral disorders, adhering to the GA Dept of Education and each student's Individual Education Program (IEP). The position follows the Gwinnett County curriculum and Georgia Standards of Excellence, utilizing the Gwinnett County Public School’s platform. Class sizes are based on census, with current students distributed between two class rotations. Teachers follow a modified district calendar, working additional days during Fall and Winter Breaks, and 15 days during May/June for Summer Enrichment. In cases of inclement weather, staff are expected to report to work.
Requirements
- Must be 21+
- Valid Driver's License
- Bachelor's degree
- Georgia Teaching certification: English certification 6-12
- Special Education Teaching Certification SPED preferred

Responsibilities

- Follows the district and state curriculum.
