We are hiring a Certified Drone Pilot to support our production crew in our current markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting aerial inspections of residential and commercial roofs, capturing high-quality imagery, analyzing data, and generating comprehensive reports to assist in roofing assessments and project planning.
Requirements
- Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
- Proven experience in drone operations, preferably in the roofing or construction industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report generation related to aerial imagery.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and FAA regulations concerning commercial drone operations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel across the designated regions as required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with photogrammetry software and 3D modeling.
- Knowledge of roofing systems and construction practices.
- Technical aptitude for maintaining and troubleshooting drone equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate drones to perform detailed aerial inspections of roofing structures, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Capture high-resolution images and videos to assess roof conditions, identify damage, and evaluate maintenance needs.
- Analyze collected data to generate accurate and insightful reports for clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with project managers and roofing specialists to interpret findings and develop appropriate solutions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot drone equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, FAA regulations, and advancements in drone technology.
