As a Commercial Drone Herbicide Applicator, you will operate our AE Vision J-100 spray platform to apply herbicides across multiple environments. This role involves regular travel throughout the region, field operations, drone maintenance, and professional herbicide application. Requirements

  • Part 107A License
  • Proven drone flying experience
  • Understanding of drone systems, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safe UAV operation
  • Experience in herbicide applications, agriculture, vegetation management, or related fields
  • Ability to travel regionally for extended or multi-day operations
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety
  • Valid drivers license

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with heavy-lift or spray UAVs
  • Commercial herbicide license to include Core, with turf, right of way, forestry, or aquatic subcategories and an Aerial Applicator License
  • Knowledge of herbicide mixes, calibration, and application techniques
  • Mechanical aptitude for UAV repairs or adjustments
  • Field experience in utilities, ROW, agriculture, landscaping, or environmental services

Responsibilities

  • Operate commercial spray drones safely and efficiently
  • Plan and execute flight missions
  • Mix and apply herbicides in accordance with label requirements
  • Troubleshoot and repair drone, battery, charger, and spray system issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventative inspections
  • Maintain flight, maintenance, and application records
  • Follow all FAA, EPA, state, and company safety regulations
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Follow DOT and FAA rules and regulations
  • Ability to team-lift up to 120 lbs
