About The Position
This is a part-time position for a Certified Driver's Education Instructor/Driver. The role involves both classroom instruction using the 'How To Drive' curriculum and behind-the-wheel instruction. The position offers a flexible schedule with opportunities during Spring, Summer, and Fall/Winter sessions. Additional paid training is provided for both classroom and driving instruction.
Requirements
- South Dakota Professional Teaching Certificate or Educator Permit with Driver’s Education Instructor endorsement.
- Interested individuals do not have to be a state-certified teacher to become a Driver's Education instructor or instruct for a school district.

Responsibilities
- Conduct 30 hours of classroom instruction using the 'How To Drive' curriculum, including preparation time.
- Provide 12 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction per group of students.
- Utilize the vehicle provided by Community Education for driving instruction.
