About The Position
Winning Wheels is accepting applications for an energetic person who is desiring to bring smiles, laughter, and joy to the young adults we serve. We are a non-profit rehabilitation facility located in Prophetstown, IL where we specialize in caring for adults with brain injuries, and spinal cord injuries. As the Certified Dietary Manager you will assist the Dietician in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current Federal, State and Local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the Dietary Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
Requirements
- Dietary Manager's Certification.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Dietician in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department.
- Ensure the Dietary Department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.
- Interviewing and hiring staff.
- Training staff.
- Ordering supplies.
- Working with the Dietician.
- Scheduling staff.
- Conducting performance evaluations.
