The role of Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) / Food Service Director is pivotal to the recovery and dietary needs of residents, influencing their daily nourishment and providing a home-like environment with tasty, nutritional, and appealing food. The position involves managing a team, menu planning, stock management, ordering, adhering to IDPH regulations, and providing hands-on support in a busy commercial kitchen. Requirements

• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) Certification (required to obtain within a few months of employment if not currently held)
• Prior experience as a Food Services Director in a medical facility or a central kitchen is ideal
• Relevant ServSafe, food service & sanitation certifications/training
• Nutritional certification is ideal, but not required
• Culinary training highly desirable, but not required
