About The Position
Heritage Post Acute of Florence is seeking a Certified Dietary Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our dietary department and ensure quality food service for our residents.
Requirements
- Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certification preferred/required
- Previous supervisory experience in dietary/food service preferred
- Experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets and food safety regulations
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate dietary staff and daily operations
- Ensure meals are prepared and served according to residents' dietary needs
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance
- Monitor inventory and food supplies
- Maintain accurate dietary documentation
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
