Requirements
- BCCOHP Certified Dental Assistant designation required
- Strong chairside assisting skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Positive, patient-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience with digital dental software and workflows considered an asset
- Sedation certification is considered an asset
- Experience with Cerec is considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical equipment
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control protocols
- Educate and support patients throughout their treatment experience
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative team members
