About The Position

Hello from Clear Lakes Dental! We are always looking for enthusiastic, passionate team members! Clear Lakes Dental treats patients of all ages. Currently, we are searching for a full time Certified Dental Assistant. Best of all we provide 100% fully paid training!

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; secondary education is a plus.
• Certificate in Coronal Polishing preferred.
• Certificate in Dental Radiography/X-Ray preferred.
• Certificate in Sealant Application
• CPR training is not required but definitely a plus.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience.
• A desire to learn more about the dental industry.
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Attention to detail, well-organized, and reliable.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Somali, Oromo, or Hmong is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Secondary education
• Certificate in Coronal Polishing
• Certificate in Dental Radiography/X-Ray
• CPR training

Responsibilities

• Assist Dentists and Hygienists during procedures
• Sterilize and set up operatories between patients
• Take and process dental x-rays
• Document treatment plans and patient notes accurately
• Apply sealants, fluoride, and other preventive treatments
• Educate patients on postop care
• Keep our workspace safe, clean, and HIPAA-compliant
• Be an all-around awesome teammate!
