The Certified Crane Operator is responsible for safely operating boom crane to life, move and position heavy materials, equipment and machinery.

Requirements

High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
Valid crane operator certification and any required state or company license.
Two to five years’ operating boom cranes in construction, manufacturing or logistics
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in crane operations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, load charts and technical documents.
Strong communication skills for coordination with ground crew and supervisors
Teamwork and problem-solving skills to handle complex lifting scenarios.

Responsibilities

Operate boom cranes to lift, transport and position materials or equipment, following precise lift plans and site conditions.
Inspect and maintain crane equipment before and after each use, ensuring it is safe and in optimal condition.
Communicate effectively with ground personnel to coordinate safe and efficient load movements.
Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including load charts, rigging procedures and OSHA standards.
Document operation and maintenance activities, keeping accurate records of carne usage and incidents.
Assist in training new operators on safe and efficient crane operation techniques.
Perform basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on crane components.
Adhere to company polices and industry best practices for workplace safety.
Other duties as assigned.
Participate in required safety program and work in a safe manner.
