About The Position

At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry. We are seeking to hire an experienced Certified Clinical Medical Assistant to support our Internal Medicine Department located at our office in Pikesville (Woodholme Medical Building). Primarily this position supports one provider, but at times may provide cross coverage within the department. Shift Hours: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm Our ideal candidates must be willing to work in a fast paced, team environment and provide excellent care and service to our patients. Internal Medicine / Primary Care experience of 1-2 years is preferred. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families.

Requirements

High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program. NHA is a plus!
Internal Medicine / Primary Care (Required)
Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently multitask and stay organized
Proficiency in EHR/ computer skills (Nextgen is a plus); CRISP; Cover My Meds

Nice To Haves

If you are not certified but have completed an accredited Medical Assistant training program, please still apply! We will work with you to get certified within 90 days of hire, if you are eligible.
NHA is a plus!
