Requirements

Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification
Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
Valid Arizona Memory Care Certification
Valid in-person CPR and First Aid Certification through the Red Cross or American Heart Association
Proof of Negative TB Test
Strong problem-solving skills
A compassionate approach to caregiving
Ability to remain empathetic, efficient, and resourceful
Clear background check and drug screening
If a CNA or LNA, must take a 16 hour Bridge course to get Caregiver Certification prior to being employed

Responsibilities

provide dignified assistance with personal care, fostering independence while honoring the unique choices of each resident
recognize and address their spiritual, social, recreational, emotional, and physical needs, ensuring a supportive environment
conducting routine health assessments
monitoring vital signs
assisting with mobility and safety during transfers
aid residents with personal hygiene tasks
provide compassionate end-of-life care to ensure peace and dignity
assist with meals
accommodate special dietary needs
monitor hydration levels
