Requirements

  • Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Valid Arizona Memory Care Certification
  • Valid in-person CPR and First Aid Certification through the Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Proof of Negative TB Test
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • A compassionate approach to caregiving
  • Ability to remain empathetic, efficient, and resourceful
  • Clear background check and drug screening
  • If a CNA or LNA, must take a 16 hour Bridge course to get Caregiver Certification prior to being employed

Responsibilities

  • provide dignified assistance with personal care, fostering independence while honoring the unique choices of each resident
  • recognize and address their spiritual, social, recreational, emotional, and physical needs, ensuring a supportive environment
  • conducting routine health assessments
  • monitoring vital signs
  • assisting with mobility and safety during transfers
  • aid residents with personal hygiene tasks
  • provide compassionate end-of-life care to ensure peace and dignity
  • assist with meals
  • accommodate special dietary needs
  • monitor hydration levels
