Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) | Part-Time School-Based ABA
About The Position
Empower Behavior Solutions is seeking compassionate, motivated Certified Behavior Technicians (CBTs) to join their team. They provide high-quality ABA services designed to help children build meaningful skills, increase independence, and reach their full potential. This position involves providing 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and school settings, with no clinic-based services offered. The current opportunity is for a Certified Behavior Technician to provide services in Gig Harbor for a 4-year-old client in a preschool setting, with approximately 20 hours per week. Additional hours may be available by combining multiple client cases. Future opportunities for hybrid and virtual services may also become available.
Requirements
- Active Washington State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data
- Reliable transportation to the client's location
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping children succeed
- Willingness to provide in-person services
Nice To Haves
- Previous ABA therapy experience
- Two or more years of experience working with children
- Interest in future hybrid or virtual ABA opportunities
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a BCBA
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs
- Deliver services in the client's home and/or school
- Collect accurate session data and complete documentation in Rethink within 24 hours of each session
- Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and supervising clinicians
- Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Follow all company policies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
