About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Certified Behavior Technician – School Setting for an exciting Travel or Local job in Lacey, WA. This role involves implementing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under supervision, providing one-on-one and group behavioral support to students, collecting data, assisting students in skill development, and collaborating with school staff. The technician will utilize positive behavior support strategies and maintain confidentiality.

Requirements

Current Certified Behavior Technician (CBT/RBT) Certification required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior management techniques.
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to pass all required background checks and school district clearances.

Nice To Haves

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
Previous experience working with children in a school, behavioral health, or educational setting.
Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a qualified professional.

Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development activities.
