About The Position
Empower Behavior Solutions is expanding its program and is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to work part-time with a 13-year-old male client. This role involves approximately 20-30 hours per week, with hours typically scheduled after 3 PM. The position offers a unique opportunity to be an integral part of a child's growth, learning, and success, working directly with them to achieve breakthrough moments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Current CBT certification
- Experience with ABA data collection and session documentation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively, accurately, and efficiently under multiple demands and frequent interruptions
- Patience, creativity, and genuine passion for supporting the autism community
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two years’ experience working with children
Responsibilities
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy programs under BCBA supervision across home, school, and center-based settings.
- Collect accurate session data and enter supporting documentation into Rethink within 24 hours of each session.
- Ensure that each client’s individual Behavior Plan is implemented as written by BCBA.
- Maintain professional communication with families and report observations to supervising BCBA.
