About The Position

Premise Health is seeking a full-time Certified Athletic Trainer - Clinical Injury Prevention Specialist to provide care to client employees in their Health Center located in Princeton, IN. The scheduled hours are Monday – Friday, 9:15 AM – 6:00 PM, with flexibility for alternative schedules. This role is open to Veterans, Transitioning Military, National Guard and Reserve Members, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors, and their Caregivers. Requirements

Bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited professional Athletic Training education program
Current BOC Certified Athletic Trainer
Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services

Nice To Haves

Certification in specialty areas (Ergonomic Specialty) preferred
Knowledge of current OSHA regulations preferred
Experience in Ergonomics preferred
Experience in Occupational Health and Safety

Responsibilities

Develop and implement early intervention program consisting of performing comprehensive musculoskeletal examination, providing first aid per OSHA standards and education on injury prevention
Perform physical demand and ergonomic assessments to identify high-risk tasks and recommend preventive strategies
Lead group and individual training on functional movement, job simulation, and injury prevention programs
Collaborate with on-site medical and safety teams to coordinate care and recommend workplace countermeasures
Document assessments, recommendations, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner
Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date record
Participate in meetings and task forces
Other duties as assigned
