About The Position
This position involves providing athletic training services for student athletes at Manistee Community Middle and High Schools. The role is part of a small, close-knit Sports Medicine team that offers support and encouragement. The Certified Athletic Trainer will be supported by the Sports Medicine Director and Outpatient Rehab Director/designee. The position offers opportunities for personal growth and advancement within the organization through mentorship and skill development.
Requirements
- Four-year bachelor's degree in athletic training or related study
- Certification as an athletic trainer
- Licensed in Athletic Training
- Vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
- Receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
Responsibilities
- Provide athletic training services for the student athletes at Manistee Community Middle and High Schools.
- Work with a small close-knit Sports Medicine team that support and encourage each other.
- Be supported by the Sports Medicine Director and Outpatient rehab Director/designee.
- Work side by side with leaders and mentors that teach new skills providing personal growth and promotional opportunities within the organization.
