About The Position

ATvantage is seeking a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer to support a local secondary school athletic program in Lake Arrowhead, CA. This part-time role offers consistent, predictable weekday hours (approximately 15 hours per week, Monday-Friday afternoons and evenings) and focuses on on-site event and practice coverage without the heavy burden of ongoing, extensive case management. It's an ideal opportunity for supplemental income, maintaining clinical skills, or achieving a better school/life balance.

Requirements

  • BOC Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) in good standing.
  • Eligible to practice athletic training in the state of California.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Completed Mandated Reporter Training (or willing to complete upon hire).
  • Strong, independent decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide primary care coverage for scheduled high school practices and athletic events.
  • Evaluate, triage, and manage athletic injuries, illnesses, and emergencies as they arise.
  • Serve as the on-site healthcare authority, communicating clearly with coaches, school staff, and parents.
  • Maintain quick, professional electronic documentation of injuries and care provided.
