About The Position

Franciscan Health is seeking a full-time Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) to join their Anesthesia services team in Lafayette, Indiana. This position will be based at Franciscan Health Lafayette East and will join a group of 15 providers. The role involves working under the Medical Direction Model with anesthesiologists to ensure the safe administration of anesthesia during surgery and/or procedures, providing patient care before, during, and after anesthesia, and educating patients about anesthesia. The position offers a variety of case types including orthopedics, ENT, healthy pediatrics, GYN, neuro, general surgery, urology, plastics, reconstructive, and vascular. No call or travel is required.

Requirements

Must have graduated with a Master’s degree from a CAAHEP accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant Program.
Must have passed the Certifying Examination for Anesthesiologist Assistants or the CDQ examination and hold current certification.
