About The Position

Corewell Health, Michigan’s largest health system, is seeking full-time and part-time Certified Anesthesiologist Assistants (CAAs) to join their dedicated team of anesthesia providers at Blodgett. This role offers flexible scheduling options with 10 and 12-hour shift blocks, manageable call expectations with an anticipated maximum ratio of 1:7, and the opportunity to work in a Level 3 Trauma Center with diverse cases across many specialties. The position also includes access to My Concierge, a unique program offering personal assistance services, and a CME allowance of $2,500 annually with rollover options.

Requirements

• Master of Science in Anesthesiology (MSA) or Master of Medical Science degree.
• National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistant (NCCAA) upon hire.
• Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA certification within 90 days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - AHA certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in a Level 3 Trauma Center.
• Manage diverse cases in specialties including general surgery, orthopedics, otolaryngology, neurosurgery, thoracic, vascular, OB/GYN, and more.
• Participate in flexible scheduling with 10 and 12-hour shift blocks.
• Adhere to manageable call expectations with an anticipated maximum ratio of 1:7.
• Cover additional call and additional shifts for increased earning potential.
