About The Position

Recover is dedicated to enhancing the effectiveness, accessibility, and affordability of addiction treatment and mental healthcare. We collaborate with governmental bodies to leverage medicine for improved patient outcomes. Our program offers outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment for individuals facing substance use and mental health challenges, employing a harm reduction approach and focusing on marginalized communities. We are a rapidly growing, small team seeking individuals to join us in our expansion. Our team comprises professionals from prestigious institutions such as Yale Law, UCLA School of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, and former White House staff.

Requirements

CAADC / LAADC certification valid in California from one of the three state-recognized certifying organizations OR be an AMF / ASW / APCC in need of supervised practice hours
2+ years of experience in mental health and/or substance use treatment
Availability for Evening hours

Fluent in Spanish

Responsibilities

Provide counseling to patients in one-on-one, group, and family settings.
Develop relationships with patients and guide them through their recovery journey.
Collaborate with the treatment team, including the medical director, physicians, nurse practitioners, and case managers, to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
Work independently, take ownership of patient care, build rapport, and function effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Provide support to clients outside of standard 9-5 schedules during evening hours.
