About The Position
Greenville Treatment Center is hiring a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC and/or CADC-I) to join their team. Greenville Treatment Center is a private clinic that offers outpatient Methadone and Buprenorphine maintenance treatment for individuals with opiate abuse. The center provides a supportive and therapeutic setting for opioid and heroin drug treatment, with certified substance abuse counselors, licensed nurses, and a physician on staff.
Requirements
- CADC-I or CADC is required
- Must be registered with the North Carolina Substance Abuse Practice Board - in good standing
- Experience in the Substance Abuse field - highly desired
Responsibilities
- Assessments
- Individual therapy
- Group therapy
- Case management
- Intakes
- Drug education
- Referral to community services
- Coordination of care
- Family counseling and education
- Documentation of all therapy sessions/chart filing
