About The Position
The Certification Medication Aide works under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. The role performs routine patient-care tasks, supports residents with activities of daily living, helps with meal preparation and cleanup, assists residents with meals, and documents care provided. The CMA provides compassionate care to support residents’ physical and emotional well-being and also passes medications. This is a full-time day-shift position working 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with rotating weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medication Aide (CMA).
- One year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine tasks in patient care.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living.
- Assist with meal preparation and cleanup.
- Assist in providing meals to residents.
- Document care provided.
- Provide compassionate care to foster residents’ physical and emotional well-being.
