The HBT Regulatory Team has an immediate opportunity for a Certification Engineer within our Global Regulatory Team. The preferred candidate will be highly motivated with demonstrated initiative, and is willing to learn and understanding of product compliance methodologies within a regulated global environment. Responsibilities

Interpret regulatory standards and advise engineering teams so they meet product requirements
Prepare test plans, setup systems, coordinate testing and obtain approval results with agencies
Perform software & hardware testing to identify performance gaps & improvement opportunities
Analyze task risks, deadlines & priorities to help management derive realistic project schedules
Utilize quality control procedures and approval guides to perform responsible test executions
Develop standard work, implement best practices and train engineering team members
Maintain product & equipment compliance to latest changes from UL/ULC, EN, ISO, FM and other global standards
Resolve manufacturing audit concerns by providing accurate & complete information
Utilize resources and optimize strategies for fastest way to execute projects
Identify test failure root causes and work with engineers on corrective action to resolve failures
