About The Position
The Medical Assistant Float travels to offices throughout the network, as the need arises. The MA Float position requires the ability to adapt and adjust to offices within the Physician Companies, which include Primary Care, and varied specialty practices. The Medical Assistant is responsible for general clinical and procedural patient care, under supervision of the Practice Manager and/or center Physicians/Providers.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to effectively manage change
- Certified Medical Assistant, and/or graduated from a recognized Medical Assistant program
- Strong patient relations skills
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA law
- Patient confidentiality must be treated with utmost importance
- CPR certification must be current, or obtained within the first 3 months of employment

- Familiarity with the EPIC electronic medical records system
