About The Position

As a Cerakote & Laser Machine Operator, you’ll play a critical role in preparing and coating components for our multi-tools and knives using robotic coating systems, laser and precision equipment. Requirements

High School diploma or GED preferred
2+ years of machine operation experience preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to perform equipment setup and changeovers
Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, comparators)
Ability to read basic blueprints and perform shop math
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and communicate in English (SDS, work instructions, manuals)

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Lean manufacturing is a plus
NCRC certification preferred

Responsibilities

Operate robotic coating systems, laser and related equipment to prep, coat, and finish components
Perform routine machine setups and changeovers with close tolerances
Blast components, mix coating materials, and load/unload robotic fixtures
Monitor production output and make mechanical or program adjustments to meet quality and quantity goals
Inspect components using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and attribute/variable gaging
Perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
Identify opportunities for process improvement and take initiative to enhance efficiency
Follow company procedures and Oregon DEQ / federal / local requirements for handling hazardous materials
Properly label, store, and dispose of materials
Wear required PPE and complete all safety training
Immediately report spills or unsafe conditions
