About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cerakote Application Specialist to support training, validation, and technical operations across our coating systems. This role plays a key part in delivering high-quality, world-class coating solutions through hands-on training, process development, and customer support. You will work closely with customers, engineers, and internal teams to ensure successful coating applications across both manual and robotic platforms.

Requirements

  • Experience with Cerakote or similar coating systems preferred (on the job training provided)
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process issues
  • Experience with robotic programming or automation systems is a plus
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Willingness to travel (including international travel) monthly.
  • Valid passport (or ability to obtain one)
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen (THC included).
  • Hands-on, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to train and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences
  • High attention to detail and quality standards
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Responsibilities

  • Teach Cerakote training classes for customers (hand spray and robotic applications)
  • Follow established curriculum while adapting to customer-specific needs
  • Conduct onsite and offsite training, including international travel
  • Develop training materials, SOPs, and support content
  • Perform coating tests for new innovations of Cerakote
  • Prepare and manage parts, materials, and validation schedules
  • Collaborate with engineering on robotic programming and fixture design
  • Ensure all coatings meet performance and finish standards
  • Maintain detailed documentation and data tracking
  • Troubleshoot customer coating issues (robotic and manual applications)
  • Install, calibrate, and maintain robotic systems and related hardware/software
  • Develop new coating techniques and application methods
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines effectively
  • Support trade shows and industry events
  • Resolve customer and vendor concerns professionally
  • Maintain equipment and workspace per company standards
  • Provide feedback to improve products, services, and customer experience
