AI Economics OS is being established to solve the gap between foundational LLMs and companies developing AI-native applications or embracing AI in day-to-day operations. As enterprises move from AI prototypes to production, they face a fragmented landscape of fluctuating costs, uneven model capabilities, and increasing vendor lock‑in. The market lacks a neutral, intelligent decision layer that sits between applications and models to manage this complexity. Enterprise AI spend is compounding, but the tooling to manage it has not caught up. AI Economics OS is being built to answer that question natively. AI Economics OS is the layer enterprises will use to measure, attribute, and govern the economics of their AI. We are looking for a founding CEO to build AI Economics OS into the definitive operating system for AI economics. This is a day-zero role: you will set the product thesis, close the first cohort of design partners, hire the founding team, raise the seed, and build the commercial and technical foundation for the category. The right person has lived at the intersection of enterprise AI infrastructure, RevOps or FinOps, and SaaS go-to-market. You understand how companies buy, deploy, and evaluate AI. You are comfortable selling a services-first wedge while building toward a platform, and understand the pain points of CFOs and RevOps leaders when it comes to token usage, model lock in and AI infrastructure, and equally credible to engineering buyers. As CEO, you will be responsible for translating our technical vision into a thriving business, building the company from first principles while leveraging Montauk Capital's studio resources. You'll define go-to-market strategy, build a world-class team, establish product-market fit, secure additional funding, and position AI Economics OS as the industry standard for AI compute optimization.
