About The Position

This position manages time and leave reporting for employees, ensuring compliance with hospital instructions and state/federal guidelines. The role is responsible for accurate record keeping and generating reports to meet critical deadlines set by the Department of Accounts, Payroll, and/or Supervisor. Key duties include maintaining an automated leave system that handles shift differentials, overtime, workers’ compensation, compensatory leave, and time adjustments. The Centralized Timekeeper also handles leave adjustments, such as workers’ compensation adjustments, and shares responsibility for site administrative functions of the UKG/Kronos timekeeping system.

Requirements

  • Experience with data entry.
  • Experience utilizing office equipment (i.e. copier, scanner, etc.).
  • Experience with basic mathematical computations.
  • Experience with multitasking and good judgement with prioritization.
  • Flexibility and ability to adjust plans when unexpected changes occur.
  • Proficiency in using various software solutions and handling data in different formats (UKG/Kronos software is currently used).
  • Ability to enter tasks, dependencies, and resources accurately to create effective schedules and monitor timekeeping.
  • Ability to resolve disputes arising from scheduling conflicts.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, supervisors, and payroll.
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve scheduling conflicts or issues.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in schedules and overlook no critical tasks.
  • Ability to provide excellent service and address the needs of internal customers.

  • Preferred experience in timekeeping software or general accounting.
