About The Position

D.R. Horton, Inc., the largest homebuilder in the U.S., was founded in 1978 and is a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange. It is engaged in the construction and sale of high quality homes designed principally for the entry-level and first time move-up markets. The Company also provides mortgage financing and title services for homebuyers through its mortgage and title subsidiaries. D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Centralized Disclosure Specialist Team Leader for their Financial Services Secondary Marketing Department. The right candidate will manage teammates within the centralized department to issue initial and subsequent re-disclosures to consumers for multiple loan types in multiple states. Accuracy and timeliness are paramount due to the regulatory and business requirements related to disclosures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university plus one year related experience; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of the CDD Dashboard and direct communication with the staff.
  • Monitor the CDD Dashboard and related reports to ensure proper progress is made and disclosures are issued in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to CDD Specialist Meetings.
  • Be available to staff for questions and assistance on files.
  • Work with Branch Management, Underwriting Department, Product Development, Closing and other departments to coordinate solutions on files.
  • Develop relationships with staff. Lead by example; foster a team atmosphere and attitude. Motivate the staff to manage individual workload proactively, not reactively.
  • Directly Supervises two or more employees.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
