We are seeking a Full-Time Day Shift Central Sterile Supply Technician to join our growing Surgical Services team. In this role, you will clean, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment used throughout the hospital. Your attention to detail helps ensure our clinical teams have the properly prepared instruments and equipment they need to deliver safe, efficient patient care. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Six (6) months of Central Sterile, Sterile Processing, Surgical Services, or related healthcare experience required.
  • Full-time availability to work the assigned schedule, including required on-call and weekend rotation coverage.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Nice To Haves

  • CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment.
  • Prepare and deliver surgical case carts to support daily operating room schedules.
  • Perform biological and chemical sterilization testing and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Monitor sterilization equipment and respond appropriately to quality indicators.
  • Restock sterile supplies and maintain inventory throughout the department.
  • Follow infection prevention standards, including Standard Precautions and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Identify and report equipment concerns or safety issues.
  • Work closely with Surgical Services and clinical teams to ensure instruments and equipment are available when needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
