Central Sterile Supervisor - Central Sterile Supply - Evenings In this role, you will oversee the daily operational activities of the central sterile processing department and assure that the standards of operations are in compliance with the standards set by regulatory agencies, such as the state Department of Health, Joint Commission and others. Supervise technicians and delegate activities involving medical supplies and equipment for our operating rooms, endoscopy suites, and clinics. Utilize cutting edge information systems. Drive quality and performance improvement initiatives and assist in creating new processes. Foster a culture of teamwork, communication, and respect. Support and adhere to the hospital’s mission, vision and values statements and perform according to the hospital’s standards for customer service. This is a full-time evenings position working 3:00pm-11:00pm at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • CRCST certification from the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)
  • 5 years of related experience
  • Leadership qualities

Nice To Haves

  • Prior leadership experience in a major medical center
  • Strong communication and computer skills (experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • CHL, CIS, and CER certifications

Responsibilities
