About The Position

Care for our community, and your career. This position is in a busy hospital department requiring detail attentiveness. The individual must be self-motivated and willing to self-direct, with exceptional organizational skills. The ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments/projects with accuracy is needed. The qualified candidate will be responsible for creating shift schedules for 1-2 units in a hospital setting and scheduling staff coverage to ensure efficient and effective staffing patterns for the hospitals. They will also perform clerical duties required by the Nursing Administration Division.

Requirements

  • High school level of knowledge.
  • Detail attentiveness required for this busy hospital department.
  • Individual must be self-motivated and willing to self-direct.
  • Exceptional organizational skills a must.
  • Ability to simultaneously handle multiple assignments/projects with accuracy needed.
  • Five years prior experience, with experience in both administrative support preferred.
  • Proficiency with computer software.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with shift scheduling a plus!
  • Associates degree in secretarial science or graduate of post secondary business school preferred.
  • Associates degree in secretarial science or graduate of post-secondary business school preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities
