Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED
  • Two (2) years central service, distribution or business related experience preferred.
  • Strong personal computer skills

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere.

  • Ability to manage time to meet requirement deadlines.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Direct involvement with specific departments in support of accurate cleaning, distribution, inventory control, transportation, records management, rehousing, and storage of identified medical equipment and devices.
  • Daily activities associated with the decontamination functions and transport of devices throughout the Mayo Clinic with attention to standards for safety, security, and productivity.
  • Support patient care areas by responding to incoming requests via phone, mail, and fax, from all levels of Mayo Clinic staff.
  • Serve as a point of contact to resolve daily operational inquiries and problems; enlist appropriate Equipment management personnel for assistance, as needed.
  • Work on special projects as assigned.
  • Sustain and comply with a broad range of policies and governmental regulations.
  • Assist with projects as directed by Linen and Central Services leadership.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned by leadership.
