About The Position
The role is responsible for demonstrating competence in decontamination, assembly, sterilization, sterile storage, and case cart assembly.
Requirements
- Consistently demonstrates all requirements of CPD Tech II
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician through either the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) when eligible.
- Ability to walk moderate distances while pushing/maneuvering carts.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills
- Must have effective customer service/people skills and critical thinking skills that involve multitasking with interruptions.
