About The Position

We are seeking a Central Processing Specialist with experience in administrative support and document management. You will be part of a central processing team responsible for providing accurate and responsive services to internal and external customers. You will be involved in managing incoming documentation and facilitating customer communications. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in quality assurance and clerical support. The ideal candidate will have a background in administrative tasks within the automotive or financial services industries.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Google products, along with internet and internal work queue navigation.
  • Strong numeric ability, reasoning, and computer literacy.
  • Excellent organizational, clerical, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work as a team player and a quick learner.

Nice To Haves

  • Some post-high school coursework in a related field.
  • Familiarity with concepts and procedures used in the automotive and financial services industries.
  • Experience handling vehicle titles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a thorough understanding of AFC policies, processes and procedures related to customer accounts and loan processing (floorplanning).
  • Sort and distribute emails, process materials for couriers, and handle faxing, scanning, and photocopying.
  • Troubleshoot problems and determine correct resolutions for specific floorplan issues.
  • Respond to customer requests, concerns, and inquiries via telephone and email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ship domestic and international packages to multiple locations.
  • Maintain an organized workspace conducive to department success and assist with other functions as needed, including potential overtime.
