Requirements

  • Strong scheduling, planning, organizing, problem solving, time managing, and prioritizing work skills
  • Excellent customer service including follow through, Time management, Planning/organization and prioritizing
  • Capable of managing multiple project designs, scopes, budgets, and installations
  • Skilled decision making to be able to handle the dynamic work scope
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
  • Operate a computer proficiently (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years industrial maintenance experience preferred
  • Minimum 5 years successful operational leadership experience preferred
  • Mentor and train team members on proper equipment use
  • Ability to work with the other Managers as a part of the Management Team
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask responsibilities daily
  • Ability to work flexible hours and be available as needed by the business

Responsibilities

  • Work with the stakeholders from the start of each project to ensure you understand the project scope and vision
  • Anticipates maintenance expenditures and provides estimates to forecast and meet budgetary requirements
  • Experience managing people and budgets
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, resulting in projects that operate on the budget established in the estimate
  • Drive continuous improvement; employee productivity, uptime improvements, lead time reductions
  • Keep maintenance abreast of shop equipment deficiencies and breakage
  • Troubleshoot production problems to minimize downtime
  • Develop and deliver performance reviews and corrective action documentation
  • Facilitate the compensation planning, performance assessment and employee development planning processes
  • Procure supplies and spare parts to ensure effective and timely maintenance of equipment
