About The Position

Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, is seeking a Central Financial Controller. This role is crucial for ensuring controlling data consistency and consolidation, maintaining and developing reporting tools (SAP, Oracle PBCS solutions), and coordinating all financial reporting phases (actuals, forecast, budget, strategic plan). The position involves investigating variances, monitoring action plans, improving processes, promoting digital reporting, and acting as a finance ambassador to share best practices. The controller will also provide necessary information to auditors and serve as a business partner to management, offering recommendations and proposing action plans for financial process standardization.

Requirements

Finance degree in related field of study, master’s degree, preferred.
6 to 10 years of controlling experience required (ideally at plant level or in Programs/R&D activities).
Computer literate and good expertise of IT systems.
Consolidation Systems Knowledge (Essbase, Hyperion, PBCS, …).
Experience in an international company or in a matrix organization.
English fluency required.

Responsibilities

Ensure controlling data consistency and consolidation.
Maintain and further develop the reporting tools (SAP, Oracle PBCS solutions).
Coordinate all financial reporting phases (actuals, forecast, budget, strategic plan).
Investigate the variances and monitor the action plans.
Improve the processes and promote innovative digital reporting.
Be a finance ambassador to share the best practices within the organization.
Provide all necessary information requested by internal and external auditors.
Act as a business partner toward the management of the Division, and provide recommendation to the management.
Propose to the management action plans and standardization of financial process across BAUs.
