About The Position

This position requires working at The County Regional Central Booking Center inside the Lehigh County Prison and involves supervising employees in the processing of suspected criminals such as; photographing, fingerprinting, DUI testing and monitoring arraignments.

Requirements

• Ability to interact with employees
• Knowledge of the LIVESCAN and CPIN process
• Basic understanding the PSP AFIS system
• Basic fingerprint knowledge
• Basic computer knowledge
• Education equivalent to a high school diploma with two years experience as a Police Officer or an Associates Degree or any other equivalent combination of acceptable training and experience which has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities cited above.

Responsibilities

• Hiring and training of new employees
• Scheduling employees to maintain operation of Central Booking
• Writing and enforcing policies
• Monitoring flow of defendants through Central Booking
• Working with numerous County offices so as to continue continuity between departments
