This position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day plasma center operations and staff to ensure efficient plasma collections. The role involves supervising daily activities in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), providing clear instructions, conducting meetings, and communicating performance expectations. The supervisor may perform tasks in various work areas, advise management on employee relations or escalated donor issues, and facilitate donor movement to minimize wait times. Ensuring adequate staffing, monitoring time cards, conducting error investigations, and participating in performance appraisals are key responsibilities. The role also involves documenting corrective actions, assisting with training files and evaluations, and potentially aiding in recruitment and marketing initiatives. Accurate donor data recording, understanding hyper immune programs, maintaining a clean work environment, and complying with HSE and OSHA policies are essential. Promoting safety, maintaining confidentiality, and being cross-trained in technical areas are also part of the role. Bilingual skills may be required.
