About The Position
The Center Supervisor will report to the Center Manager and oversee the general management of employees assigned to the production areas. This role involves motivating donors and collecting high-quality plasma that becomes life-changing medicine. BioLife Plasma Services is a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- Frequent bending and reaching
- Ability to walk and stand for entire shift, frequent lifting to 32 pounds and occasional lifting to 50 pounds
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to monitor equipment from a distance
- Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, pro-longed glove wear is required
Responsibilities
- Oversee employee performance and scheduling
- Lead Inventory Control efforts and lead in operational efforts
- Work with donors to resolve concerns
- Analyze opportunities specific to non-conforming events
- Perform all tasks for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas
- Foster teamwork, communicate and resolve conflicts
