This position is responsible for supervising the day-to-day plasma center operations and staff to ensure efficient plasma collections. The role involves supervising daily activities in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), providing clear instructions, conducting meetings, and communicating performance expectations. The supervisor may perform tasks in work areas, advise management on employee relations or escalated donor issues, and facilitate donor movement to minimize wait times. Ensuring adequate staffing, monitoring time cards, conducting error investigations, and participating in performance appraisals and corrective actions are key responsibilities. The role also involves assisting with training records, recruitment, marketing initiatives, accurate donor data recording, and maintaining a clean work environment. Compliance with Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies, promoting safety, and maintaining confidentiality are crucial. Bilingual skills may be required. The position also includes performing other job-related duties as assigned.
