About The Position
This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. A key function of the job is regular, reliable attendance. Responsibilities include stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in various departments such as Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery. The role also entails processing incoming product from the warehouse and direct store delivery vendors, understanding shelf tags, sorting damaged product for credit, and operating equipment like a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler. Safety guidelines must be followed when using cutters, power lifts, and the baler. Maintaining the cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler, and freezer is essential. The role requires meeting company productivity standards, and other duties may be assigned by store management.
Requirements
- 18 years or older to apply
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Able to stock 50 cases per hour
- Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
- Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
- Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
- Able to pull loaded stock truck
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance
Nice To Haves
- Internal candidates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
- Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
