About The Position

This position involves stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in various departments including Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery. The role requires processing incoming product, understanding shelf tags, and sorting damaged goods. Additionally, the clerk will operate equipment such as hand jacks and power lifts, adhere to safety guidelines, and maintain the cleanliness of store areas. Requirements

18 years or older to apply
Regular, reliable attendance
Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
Able to pull loaded stock truck
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Nice To Haves

Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
Manager approval based on performance (if invited for an interview)

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
Process incoming product from warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
Read and understand shelf tags
Sort damaged product for credit
Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
Maintain company productivity standards
Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
